Support End Malaria Corporates Urged

The End Malaria Council (EMC) Zambia Chairperson, Dr.Godwin Beene is courting stakeholders to join hands in the fight against malaria.  Speaking during the EMC Fundraising Golf Tournament held at State House Golf Grounds, on Friday, 17th October, 2025, Dr. Beene stressed the need for collective action as a best option to eliminating the disease.

Dr. Beene urged participants in attendance to contribute financially to the cause, emphasizing that every effort counts. The EMC Zambia Chairperson emphasized the importance of locally organised advocacy and fundraising in the fight against malaria. 

Dr. Beene encouraged corporate companies to use their platforms to raise awareness about the disease and to support fundraising efforts as keeping Zambia malaria free secures a clientele base to entrepreneurs and investors.

Dr .Beene reiterated that malaria is preventable, curable, and eliminatable, and that the fight against it requires a united front.

The event, anchored by Wonderful Group of Companies, with Platinum sponsorship from First Quantum Minerals Limited (FQML), Gatbro International, and Zambia Sugar, is seeking to raise funds and create awareness in the fight against malaria.
